MODA International Marketing Announces Technology Deal With AMERTAC™, for Night Lights

(New York) November, 2007

MODA International Marketing, the licensing agency representing Prism Industries, Inc., has just concluded a deal with AmerTac™ to utilize Prism’s exclusive patent-pending lighting technology to create night lights with distinctive designs.

Michelle Alfandari, President of MODA International Marketing, said, “We immediately understood that this technology delivered functional differentiation and economies in a highly competitive marketplace. It is a low-cost, energy efficient lighting technology that enhances visual effects, color blends, and synchronizes lights with sound. Given the challenge faced by many manufacturers, to present retailers with unique offerings, we knew that this technology would have broad based appeal.”

Other products that can employ this technology are signage, seasonal, promotional items, toys/games, and more.

AmerTac™ offers complete lines of high quality decorative wall plates, night lights, utility lights, under cabinet lighting, lighting controls, and a complete line of plant accessories. Their products are distributed to leading home centers, lighting showrooms, mass merchandisers, and drug and supermarket chains throughout North America.

“The versatility of how this technology could be applied to our night light offerings is extremely appealing. We can develop product designs that are tailored our retailers’ specific needs,” says Eileen Toomey, Product Marketing Manager for AmerTac™.

Daniel Deutsch, President of Prism, and inventor of the technology, is an Electrical Engineer who has spent over 20 years in the electronics and lighting industry. “I was interested in pursuing this technology because it can be used to develop truly innovative offerings for a wide range of lighting related applications. To be able to see images in motion, or images morphing from one to another in light, is really very exciting. In addition, our lighting system can be produced at a significantly lower cost than other technologies; it is a “Green” system as well, with high energy efficiency and thus lower operating cost too. We are thrilled that we were able to develop this system to provide the performance we wanted at a low production cost,” said Deutsch.
